Magnolia Shores Community HOA: Soliciting Policy Reminder

Date: August 18, 2025

Dear Homeowners,

We hope this message finds you well.

The Board would like to take a moment to address the topic of soliciting within our community, as we’ve received a number of inquiries and concerns regarding unwanted door-to-door solicitation.

Please be advised that the HOA does not regulate or enforce "No Soliciting" policies on behalf of individual homes. While we understand and respect residents’ concerns regarding privacy and unwanted visitors, it is important to clarify that posting “No Soliciting” signs at the community entrances is not something the HOA will be pursuing or maintaining at this time.

Instead, we encourage any homeowner who does not wish to receive solicitors to place a clearly visible “No Soliciting” sign on or near their front door or property entrance. These signs are widely available, inexpensive, and an effective way to express your preference directly to potential solicitors. In many jurisdictions, such signage is legally enforceable, and individuals who ignore such signs may be subject to local penalties.

We also recommend reporting any aggressive or suspicious behavior to local law enforcement, as the HOA does not have the authority to intervene in such matters.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation. As always, we appreciate your commitment to keeping our neighborhood a safe and respectful place for all.

Sincerely,

David Phillips, Board President

Magnolia Shores Community Board of Directors
