Dear Magnolia Shores Homeowners,
As previously announced on March 5, 2026, David Foxen has agreed to assume the role of President of the Magnolia Shores Homeowners Association, following the resignation of David Phillips.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation to David Phillips for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service to our community over the past two-plus years. David initially joined the Board and later accepted the position of President during a period of transition in October 2023. His willingness to step into this role at a critical time was instrumental in guiding the Association forward.
During his tenure, David led the HOA through a challenging transition between management companies, ensuring continuity and stability for the community. He fostered a strong and collaborative Board, helping to reestablish structure and confidence within the Association.
David, alongside his wife Jean, generously devoted countless hours to community improvement efforts, many of which may have gone unnoticed. Their contributions include organizing annual Arbor Day initiatives, through which six trees were planted at no cost to the Association in the Spearfish and Headlands roundabouts. They also coordinated community trash clean-up efforts along Underwood Road and supported numerous behind-the-scenes projects that enhanced the overall appearance and well-being of Magnolia Shores.
In addition, David served as the primary liaison with Community Management and legal counsel regarding delinquent accounts. Under his leadership, the Association made significant progress in reducing outstanding debt, strengthening the financial position of the HOA.
David’s commitment, leadership, and willingness to serve have made a lasting impact on our community. His contributions are deeply appreciated.
